I’ve spent the last two decades living in cities- first Boston, then New York. I loved everything about living in Manhattan except the insanely high cost of living. After a few years in an overpriced apartment with two toddler boys, two dogs and a husband who works from home we either had to win the lottery or we had to make a move.
We now call South Florida home and it’s definitely been an adjustment. We’ve had plenty of ups and plenty of downs as we navigate a life in the suburbs that has year-round sunshine and what feels like years spent behind the wheel. One of the best things about moving here is the endless variety of activities for kids. After spending every week researching different online and print publications to see what was going on around here, I decided to create my own listings site with everything I could find about kid-friendly activities, adventures and excursions in South Florida along with my experiences at each place.
